If you’re putting one in a bathroom—especially one where you’re bathing a baby—that light isn’t just annoying. It’s actually dangerous for those underdeveloped retinas. We figured out a better way to handle this by tweaking the light spectrum. Taming the Glare We use a specific blend of quartz glass and some clever internal coatings to filter out that harsh, high-frequency light. Instead of that “white-hot” glow that makes you squint, we’ve tuned the lamp to give off a softer, long-wave heat. It feels different. The heat still sinks into the skin to keep things warm, but it doesn’t flood the room with intense light. Built for the Steam Bathrooms are brutal on electronics. Between the humidity and the steam, things tend to corrode or short out. To stop that, we wrapped these units in IP65-rated enclosures. Think of it as a waterproof shield for the electrical guts. We also sealed the heating elements in high-purity quartz tubes, so they don’t get eaten away by the moisture in the air. These are designed to slide right into your existing bathroom fixtures. No need to rip out the ceiling. We spent a lot of time making sure the heat spreads evenly. No “hot spots” here—just a consistent warmth that won’t accidentally burn a little one’s skin. One quick tip: check your circuit breaker before you start. These elements pull a decent amount of power when they first kick on. If your wiring is too thin, you’ll see a voltage drop, and the heater just won’t get as hot as it should.
