To get heat all the way down to the floor without it just floating away into the rafters, we use short-wave infrared emitters. We crank up the wattage so the heat actually hits your workers where they stand. But here’s the catch: high wattage means those connection points getreallyhot. We used reinforced ceramic insulators so the housing doesn’t warp under the pressure, but the connectors will still stay hot for a while after you flip the switch. Just a heads-up: let the unit cool down before you touch it. Trust me, you don’t want a burn on your first day of maintenance.
