400V Halogen Heater with Tip-Over Protection: Built for the Grind
We built this heater for the places where heat isn’t a nice-to-have—it’s the whole point. The kind of industrial spots where the heat has to come on hard, stay steady, and never quit, even when a machine moves or a bracket flexes. At the heart of it is a 400V halogen heating lamp, designed to throw focused heat exactly where you need it—fast.
Power, Voltage, and Size: Why It Matters
We went with a 400V supply for a simple reason: you get the same wattage with less current. That means smaller wiring and less voltage drop over longer runs. Take our 2500W unit. Higher voltage, lower amps, simpler wiring. And the 300mm tube packs all that power into a small footprint, so you get intense heat right where you want it, without taking up space.
Materials and Design: The Details You Don’t See
Halogen fill keeps the filament stable even at scorching temperatures, so the output stays consistent over time. The quartz envelope handles sudden temperature swings without cracking, and the coating helps direct the infrared heat while protecting the element. Then there’s the R7s base. It’s a proven industrial connector—quick to wire, solid in the socket, and built to handle vibration without arcing out.
Heat When You Need It, Safety When You Don’t
Tip-over protection is the safety net that kicks in the moment the heater is knocked off its mount or tilted too far. It shuts things down, cutting the risk of burns and fire. This is exactly the kind of safety you want on machines that run nonstop, where an out-of-control heater can cause trouble fast. Just one thing to keep in mind: that high heat density means you need proper airflow and cooling around the target area. Plan for it, and this heater will do its job—without drama.
